Strategic Finance Business Partner (Inside IR35) 4 Month Contract
Contract Length: 4 Months Initially
Daily Rate: c£460 (Inside IR35)
Location: Kingston, Hybrid

Role Overview: As a Strategic Finance Business Partner, you'll be intrinsic to our financial strategy, providing critical support and when successful it will involve offering strategic financial advice, managing financial risk, and ensuring robust financial planning aligned with organisational priorities. In the brief time period you will be in post, you will be helping us shape the future of our organisation and make a tangible impact on our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and advise senior budget holders to manage financial risk and protect the financial health of the Organisation
Lead small projects and implement changes and improvements within agreed cost, time and quality standards.
Support the Head of Finance Business Partnering to prepare budget reports, analysis, and budget options for consideration by senior officers, Members and Organisation committees
Support and advise senior budget holders to manage financial risk and ensure financial health
Co-ordinate the completion of statutory returns or ad hoc requests for information relating to Service budgets
Act as the senior Finance professional for one or more Directorate areas developing subject matter expertise and taking responsibility for producing accurate and useful financial information and forecastsRequirements:
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPFA, CIMA, MBA) or equivalent experience.
Experience of delivering strategic finance advice within a large and complex organisation
Experience of leading or providing financial support to change programmes and business improvement initiatives, or development of corporate strategy
Proven ability to interpret complex financial issues and provide insightful analysis.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and adaptable mindset, committed to achieving success and driving change.
