A new role for a Workshop Fitter is now available in Elmbridge. You will be required to be involved in repairing a variety of plant equipment and maintain all vehicles. You will be working across 4 depots and maintain over 150 different vehicles.
Workshop Fitter Responsibilities
A cost effective repair is carried out within budget
Enusre all documentation, work orders, service sheets are completed and returned to the workshop for approval, signature and filing.
Ensure all tooling and equipment that's used complies with current legislation and certification
all aspects of Health and Safety is adhered to
First time repair of vehicles and equipment
Able to attend roadside breakdowns (desirable)Workshop Fitter Qualifications & Licences
Educated to City & Guilds or NVQ level in the repair of vehicles and equipment
Hold a valid HGV Licence (Cat C minimum)
