Job Advertisement: Steel Erector with Lifting Supervisor Ticket

Location: Ellesmere Port

Duration: Initially 3 months, potential for extension

Rate: £20 - £22 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: 10-12 hour days (Mon-Fri) with occasional Saturday morning overtime

Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a skilled Steel Erector with a Lifting Supervisor ticket to join their team for an upcoming project in Ellesmere Port, starting at the end of February. The successful candidate will be responsible for steel erection tasks and overseeing lifting operations on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting steel erection tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Supervising lifting operations, ensuring compliance with lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Performing routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site.

Requirements:

• Valid Lifting Supervisor ticket.
• Proven experience as a Steel Erector, with a strong understanding of steel erection techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to conduct 2-3 lifts per day and engage in steel erecting activities during remaining time.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturday mornings.
