Adecco's specialist Property Services Division - North are working with a affordable housing provider based in Yorkshire who are seeking an Interim Head of Repairs & Maintenance to join their team.

• Interim Head of Repairs & Maintenance
• Housing Association / Local Authority / ALMO
• West/South Yorkshire
• 6-9 Months
• Hybrid- 2-3 days on site
• Start date: As soon as possible.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead repairs teams, including planning and administration, Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), customer feedback team, surveyors, and contract management.
• Manage activities and expenditures to ensure a reliable repairs service for both residential and non-residential properties.
• Collaborate with all departments and residents to modernise and optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the repairs service.
• Improve repairs performance, customer satisfaction, and in-house workforce productivity.
• Operate according to the company's delegation scheme and internal control framework.
  

Essential Requirements, Qualifications & Experience

• Skilled in engaging and using various communication methods with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in engaging and communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels through various methods.
• Has comprehensive experience of successfully managing in-house repair teams, and partnerships with sub-contractors.
• Proof of operating at a senior manager level with ability to influence and negotiate with customers, stakeholders and other partners.
• Previous experience working in a local authority or in the housing sector.
