Job Description

Tradewind is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant who can support SEMH pupils in a PRU in the borough of Brent to start in as soon as possible, for the remainder of academic year.

The School

This is a special PRU in the London Borough of Islington that caters for pupils with SEMH needs who also struggle to cope with working in a mainstream school, they display challenging behaviour so you do need to be thick skinned as they can be verbally abusive.

The Role

The Headteacher is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting SEMH pupils who can work with a 15 year old pupil who struggles to focus on his work.

Although it would be helpful SEMH experience is not essential for this role.

The salary for this Teaching Assistant role will be 80- 95 PAYE per day, Monday to Friday, term time only and the school are looking to trial prospective candidates as soon as possible.
