Job Description

Seeking an experienced planner to join a leading tier 1 civil contractor in the rail sector. This is a full time role, offering the opportunity to work on a Network Rail project in central London.

About the role:

As a planner, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and updating project schedules. You will be working on a high value project, with a focus on construction planning and coordination. The role involves collaborating with the project management team to ensure that all time lines are met, resources are efficiently allocated and project milestones are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project schedules and update them regularly to reflect progress
• Coordinate with various teams including construction, design and procurement, ensuring alignment with project timelines
• Analyse project performance and suggest adjustments to keep the project on track
• Report project progress to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Relevant experience using P6 Primavera
• 5+ years' experience as a planner within civil engineering
• Background working under a main contractor with NEC experience
