TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in South Ockendon, Essex, who are looking to appoint an Administrator. Boasting fantastic learning facilities for the students, this setting has recently been awarded a Good OFSTED rating. This school has key values such as maintaining a passion for learning, whilst providing education for life.

The school is looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team on a short-term basis, potentially leading to a long-term role for the right Administrator. As an Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, providing a warm and professional reception service. You will manage a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining school records, coordinating communication, and supporting the leadership team to ensure efficient daily operations.

The successful Administrator will have:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and school management systems (training will be provided if necessary).
• Previous administrative experience, preferably in a school or educational setting, is desirable.
• A positive and professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
