ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are seeking a Teaching Assistant for a position at a Secondary School based in Wiltshire. This position will be for KS3 and KS4 year groups.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Wiltshire
• Position - Teaching Assistant
• Start date - September 2024
• Duration / Likely Duration - full-time on-going
• Rate of pay - Daily Rate - 90 - 110
• Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school
• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year - Safeguarding, Prevent and FGM Training - Prospero can provide the links to complete these, Safeguarding will be at the cost of 11, however prevent and FGM will be free.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - please note Prospero do not cover the cost but will help in providing the link for application, the current cost of an enhanced DBS certificate is 45.40
• Provide all references from the last two years, must have professional email address, if there are any employment gaps, we must be able to evidence this by obtaining independent evidence, or a character reference.
• An overseas police check is required if you have lived outside of the UK for 6 months in the last 5 years.
