Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Contractor Engineering Manager (CEM) to join their dynamic team for a six-month initial contract. This contract position falls outside IR35 regulations and presents an opportunity to work with a company boasting a growing work bank and a reputation for excellence in rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and agreeing engineering processes and deliverables for projects

Preparing and managing design reviews

Arranging and attending meetings with colleagues, design teams, clients, and associated third parties

Reviewing documentation, including Task Briefs (TB's), Work Package Plans (WPP's), and design specifics

Job Requirements:

Experience as a CEM on rail infrastructure projects

Strong engineering management skills

Ability to effectively develop and agree on engineering processes and deliverables

Proficiency in preparing and managing design reviews

Competence in arranging and participating in meetings with various stakeholders

Experience in reviewing detailed documentation

Sentinel competency

Degree in an engineering discipline

Previously held CEM status
