Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Immediate Start) - Mainstream Secondary School, Lewisham

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive Secondary School in Lewisham. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, with a competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their academic goals.

Assist the classroom teacher in preparing resources and delivering engaging lessons.

Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities where required.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and confidence.

Help with classroom management and behaviour, ensuring a safe and productive setting.

Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.

Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure the holistic development of students.Requirements:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.

Experience working in a mainstream secondary school environment is preferred.

DBS check (on the Update Service) is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to supporting young people.
