Role Overview: This is a hands-on role focused on managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns. The person in this role will be responsible for setting up and tracking ads on various social media platforms, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, and analyzing data to improve ad performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Meta/Facebook Pixel Implementation:
Example: Imagine you run an online store and want to track how many people who see your Facebook ads end up making a purchase. The person in this role will set up and manage the Facebook Pixel, a small piece of code on your website that tracks these conversions. They ensure the pixel is correctly implemented to capture data like page views, add-to-cart actions, and completed purchases.
Tagging and Tracking Conversions:
Example: They will add tags (small pieces of code) to your website to track actions users take after clicking on your ads. This helps in measuring the effectiveness of your ad campaigns.
Trafficking and Platform Experience:
Example: They will manage ad placements across different social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., ensuring that ads are delivered to the right audience at the right time.
Privacy and Cookie Consent:
Example: They will ensure that your website complies with privacy laws like GDPR (in Europe) and CCPA (in the US) by managing cookie consent banners and ensuring user data is handled correctly.
Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP):
Example: They will work with tools like Singular, Branch, or AppsFlyer to track and attribute mobile app installs and in-app events to specific ad campaigns.
Audience Platforms:
Example: They will use platforms like LiveRamp or Experian to create and manage audience segments for targeted advertising.
Ad Operations and Technology:
Example: They will use tools like Adobe Analytics, DoubleClick, and others to track ad performance, optimize campaigns, and troubleshoot any issues with ad delivery.
Essential Skills
Proficient in Adobe AAM, Target, Analytics, Doubleclick, DS3, Kochava, Branch I/O
Experienced with Adobe DTM ad tagging in JavaScript
Knowledge of programmatic media, ad serving, and ad trafficking processes
Understanding of attribution models, data security policies, and privacy regulations (CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, etc.)
Familiarity with network sniffing tools and network payloads
Experience with advertising identity space technologies and device identifiers
Ability to manage MMP operations including partner configurations, postback setup, and data exports
Knowledge of cookie-less advertising and user access management
Experience with audience creation/management and server-to-server API connections
PAY:
£410 PAYE - No room for negotiation on this
