Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible Cover Supervisor to join our team in Sevenoaks. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing classrooms when teachers are absent. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the education and development of our students while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Ensure that students remain engaged and focused on learning activities.
• Distribute and collect class materials and homework assignments as instructed.
• Implement behavior management strategies as necessary to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff regarding classroom activities and students' progress.
• Follow school policies and procedures regarding attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
• Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas and with different age groups.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
