About the role: As a Supply Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work flexibly in some of Teach Now’s most trusted partner schools across Haringey. This part-time role offers the ideal opportunity to manage your own schedule while making a real difference in the classroom. You'll be working with Key Stage 1 students, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to support their learning and development.
No two days will be the same! From teaching core subjects like English and Maths to leading creative activities, you'll enjoy the variety that comes with being a supply teacher. Plus, all schools are easily accessible with excellent public transport links, so you can focus on what really matters – teaching!
About the school: You’ll be welcomed into a network of well-established schools across Haringey, known for their inclusive and supportive environments. Many of these schools have diverse student communities, with students from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, creating a dynamic and enriching teaching experience. With strong leadership teams in place, you'll have the support you need to succeed, even on short-term assignments.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent teaching experience in a UK primary school (preferably Key Stage 1).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for working with young children and supporting their educational journey.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of different students and schools.
• Support and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with support staff and other teachers when necessary.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils during class time.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
