About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Enfield, where you’ll be playing a key role in helping students reach their full potential. This part-time role is ideal for someone with experience in boosters and interventions and working with children who have special educational needs. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with classroom teachers to deliver one-on-one or small group sessions to help children achieve their learning goals. Your role will focus on providing boosters and interventions to support students who need extra help with literacy, numeracy, or other subjects. You’ll also support children with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to feel confident and engaged in their learning. Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is essential.
• Knowledge of boosters and interventions for Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
• Experience with special educational needs (SEN) support is preferred.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support classroom teachers by assisting with the planning and delivery of interventions and booster sessions.
• Provide tailored learning support to children in KS1 and work with small groups to boost achievement.
• Assist with the implementation of SEN support plans, ensuring every child feels included and supported.
• Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages confidence and participation.
• Work closely with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure each student’s progress is tracked and celebrated.
