Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Technician to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining digital assets, ensuring quality control, and acting as the primary point of contact for post-production teams. This role requires a strong background in computer hardware and software, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer the day-to-day operations of our clients regional enterprise-level Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
Develop workflows for asset ingestion, categorization, permissions management, version control, delivery, and expiration.
Manage the ongoing ingestion, organization, and maintenance of the DAM, ensuring compliance and deprecation of obsolete files.
Coordinate with cross-functional and global studio teams to address digital asset management needs.
Administer and manage internal user accounts, permissions, and perform routine user audits.
Train and onboard new users to the DAM system and assist with user queries.
Collaborate with photographers, stylists, digital technicians, videographers, and video editors to identify and resolve process roadblocks.
Maintain and update shooting scripts and support the automation of workflows.
Perform digital asset management, quality checks, and color accuracy verification.
Communicate post-production needs and manage asset delivery to the post-production team.
Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.Qualifications:
Experience writing scripted workflows (Python, JavaScript, AppleScript, Powershell, or similar).
Familiarity with AWS S3 client-side automation, metadata standards, and workflow automation.
3+ years of digital asset management experience with an enterprise-level DAM system.
In-depth experience with Capture One, Photoshop, Bridge, video software including Premiere Pro, OBS, Windows and Mac environments, and large-scale asset file management.
Strong understanding of color profile management policies and best practices.
Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple projects from beginning to end.
