Azure Devsecops Engineer

6 month initial contract

£(Apply online only) Inside IR35

Hybrid working in London

Some of the responsibilities include:

CI/CD Deployment: Manage and automate the deployment of Azure resources via Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

DevOps & GitOps Practices: Implement and optimize DevOps principles and GitOps methodologies to streamline our development processes.

Azure DevOps Repositories: Oversee Azure DevOps repositories, focusing on security and compliance best practices.

Container Management: Work with Azure Container Registry to manage container images and orchestrate deployments.

Security Integration: Integrate Azure Defender and other security tools to enhance our cloud security posture.

Monitoring & Alerts: Set up and manage Azure monitoring solutions and alerts to ensure system health and responsiveness.

Compliance Tools: Utilize security and compliance scanning tools such as Checkov and GitHub Advanced Security, and work with SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel.

Policy Enforcement: Develop and manage Azure policies to enforce compliance and security standards across our infrastructure.

Quality Gates: Establish and maintain quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality deployments.

DotNet Pipelines: Assist in developing and maintaining DotNet pipelines (preferred).

Scripting & Automation: Create PowerShell automation scripts to streamline Azure operations and enhance deployment workflows (preferred).Qualifications:

Proven experience in a DevSecOps role or similar.

Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices, and GitOps.

Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Defender, Azure Monitor, and Azure Policy.

Experience with security and compliance scanning tools.

Knowledge of container management with Azure Container Registry.

Proficiency in scripting, preferably with PowerShell (good to have).
