Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Full-time, Term time only

Rotherham S60

Starting ASAP

90 - 100 per day

Unique School Solutions are working with a school in Rotherham who urgently need SEN Teaching Assistant support.

You will be supporting a small class of Year 3 students who are working at Early Years/Reception age, non-verbal and require personal care support. This is a full-time role, 5 days a week starting ASAP. This is a challenging, physical role but extremely rewarding, and you will be working with a fantastic, supportive team.

In order to apply for this role, you must:

• Have worked with children with Special Educational Needs within the last 2 years. This doesn't have to be in a school setting, it can be within a social care or residential setting as well.
• Have experience of personal care support.
• Have a Enhanced DBS that's registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one.

In addition:

• Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
• SEN training/qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
