Salary: £85-£95 per day (Part Time & Full Time Available)

TeacherActive are excited to be recruiting Teaching Assistants / TAs to work in a Specialist School for students with severe & profound learning difficulties / PLD & SLD, between Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS Key Stage 4 / KS4.

This role will consist of providing 1:1 support, working in small groups & assisting teachers with classroom management. These schools are looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants / TAs with prior experience working within a SEND setting, or equivalent qualifications. There are a variety of roles available including long term, full time, part time & bank.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

• SEND Knowledge & Experience working with SEND students.
• Behaviour De-Escalation skills.
• The ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils and have good communication skills.
