QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Location - Plymouth, Devon

Duration - 6 Months with a possible extension

Rate - £(Apply online only) per shift (Inside IR35)

I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a major civil engineering project based in Devonport, Plymouth.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• The main purpose of this role is to subcontract management, so liaising with subcontractors and overseeing sub contract invoicing etc.
• Assist in resolving contractual issues, extensions, loss and/or expense claims, terms & conditions
• Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risk
• Carry out commercial activities to meet the Project objectives, including providing advice, guidance & support on such matters to the Project team

QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous major project experience would be ideal
• Prior experience of dealing with subcontracts
• BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Worked with / for Tier 1 contractors
• Experience with NEC contracts
