Job Description

Proman UK, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV / LGV C+E Drivers on behalf of our national client, who has an operating depot in Bristol BS16.

Job Role: Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Driver - you'll be making bulk collections & deliveries between various sites and customers nationwide. Deliveries and collections may involve trailer swaps or having your trailer live unloaded and reloaded, depending on individual customer needs.

Hours of work: all shifts commence between 12:00 and 20:00, shifts average 10 hours in length, flexibility is required

Pay rates for Class 1 Driver: PAYE, Pre 12 weeks

• Midweek:

STD - £19.28 (£17.20 + hol accrual)

OT after 8hrs - £26.26 (£23.44 + hol accrual

• Saturday:

STD - £24.53 (£21.89 + hol accrual)

OT after 8hrs - £26.26 (£23.44 + hol accrual)

• Sunday:

£27.38 (£24.44+ hol accrual)

• Bank Holiday:

£35.95 (£32.08 + hol accrual)

Rates will increase after 12 weeks.

Successful Applicants MUST have the following:

• Hold a valid Class 1/C+E Licence
• No More than 6 points (No DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements)
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Minimum 12 months of ongoing work experience is essential. Tachograph history reflecting this experience will be required to complete the induction.
• MUSThave no more than 12 current points for infringements on card
