Vibe Recruit is looking for Recycling Operative, you would be working as part of a team. working on a busy production line, sorting recyclable materials from non-recyclable materials and reporting blockages/health and safety concerns to the supervisor.

You will be required to fully comply with all Health and Safety instructions on the recycling facility.

Salary: Days 11.44, Nights 12.17

After successful probation period of 13 weeks will go to 14.97 per h

Shifts: 4on4off, 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am

Duties:

• Responsible for day to day checking of machines and recording the checks on the relevant check book.
• To comply with ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 standards
• You will be required to work as part of a small team directing Lorries for discharging, completing relevant paperwork, driving plant and machinery and operating MSS computer system.
• You will ensure that all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to.
• You will be responsible for carrying out pre-operative checks on any machinery used to ensure machinery is fit for purpose/use.
• You will be required to move material/sort materials both before and post reprocessing.
• Operate plant computers and keep them operating at optimum levels.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment that you have received training on.
• Clean Grounds and work areas
• Perform Quality control checks on material produced following relevant training and assessment

• Able to competently operate machinery
• Have a basic fitness level as the work involves manual labour
• Team working
• Able to follow health and safety guidelines
• Basic communication skills
• Good timekeeper
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and able to follow health and safety procedures
