Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Recruitment Operations Professional to join their team in Preston. This is a 12-month contract position with hybrid working arrangements, requiring 2-3 days on site per week. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant projects within the defence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing end-to-end recruitment operations for the defence sector
Coordinating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
Implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Screening and shortlisting candidates based on job requirements
Overseeing interview and selection processes
Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies
Providing regular updates and reports to senior management
Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth recruitment operations
Job Requirements:
Experience in recruitment operations, preferably within the defence sector
Strong understanding of the defence industry and related requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools
Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field
