As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive in a bilingual learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the teacher: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities. Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
• Supporting students: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring they understand the tasks at hand and receive the help they need to succeed.
• Encouraging student development: Help with the development of students' academic, social, and emotional skills in a bilingual setting.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment: Ensure the classroom remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all students.
• Monitoring student progress: Observe and report on students' progress, offering feedback to the class teacher as necessary.
• Providing personal care when necessary: Support students with any personal care needs that may arise in a school environment.
• Welsh language support: Use Welsh language skills to engage with students and ensure they understand instructions and content in a first-language Welsh setting.

What We Are Looking For:

• Fluency in Welsh: As our schools are first-language Welsh schools, we are seeking individuals who can communicate fluently in Welsh to support students in a bilingual learning environment.
• A passion for education: Whether you have classroom experience or not, we value individuals who are passionate about supporting young learners.
• Adaptability and patience: The ability to work in a dynamic school environment and adjust to the varying needs of students.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
