The Role: Manufacturing Bid Lead

This company is seeking a dynamic and driven Manufacturing Bid Lead to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the generation of cost-effective and competitive manufacturing bids, ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
• Analyse data and generate cost models to support the bidding process
• Create compelling and compliant bid proposals using PowerPoint
• Identify and manage risks to ensure the bids are financially sound and competitive
• Provide valuable manufacturing insights and expertise throughout the bid lifecycle
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's bidding methodology

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Excellent understanding of the manufacturing production process
• Strong data analysis and cost modelling skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint for the creation of bid proposals
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and tenacious approach
