SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a number of SEN Teaching Assistants. We work closely with a variety of schools and nurseries in Littlehampton, offering an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to children with special educational needs to aid their development.

• Assisting in planning and delivering engaging activities that foster learning and growth.

• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and inclusivity of all children in your care.

• Supporting children with their daily routines and encouraging independence.

• Building strong relationships with children, colleagues, and parents through effective communication.

Contract Details:

• Location: Littlehampton

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Type: Full-time

• Pay Rate: Minimum of 13.96 per hour

• Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Requirements to Apply:

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Have the Right to Work in the UK.

• Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate (registered with the online update service) or be willing to apply for one.

• Provide two professional references related to working with children.

• Hold a Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent in childcare or a related field.
