Are you Interested in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and making a meaningful impact on their education?

A secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from May 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone dedicated to helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Provide in-class support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to enhance student engagement.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

• Experience working with children with SEN.
• A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
