Strip Fitter – Thurleigh, Bedfordshire

Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00

Pay: £16–£18 per hour

Contract: Long-term, ongoing work

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable automotive business based in Thurleigh. They are looking to add an experienced Strip Fitter to their skilled bodyshop team, working on a variety of vehicles to ensure they are restored to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strip and fit panels and components across a range of vehicles

* Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and approved methods

* Ensure all removed parts are clearly labelled and stored for refitting

* Support colleagues across other bodyshop departments when needed

* Offer guidance and training to junior technicians within the team

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a similar role

* Full UK driving licence

* Own tools required

* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

* Strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering high-quality workmanship

* Willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members
