Parts Advisor – Thurleigh, Bedfordshire

Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00

Salary: £30,875 – £33,023 per annum

Contract: Long-term, ongoing work

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established automotive company based in Thurleigh, who are looking to add a Parts Advisor to their busy and professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced parts professional or stock controller, or even a semi-skilled operative or trainee looking to grow within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage workshop stock, including booking goods into the system and cross-referencing vehicle parts

* Liaise with the stock team to ensure accurate ordering and replenishment

* Carry out regular stock checks, both physical and system-based

* Provide administrative support to the workshop, including responding to phone and email queries

* Complete weekly reports and maintain accurate records across all systems

* Contribute to the efficiency of the team by ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

* Perform general ad hoc duties as required

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in a similar role (parts advisor, stock controller, or administrator)

* Automotive industry background (desirable)

* Confident using IT systems, especially Excel

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Good numeracy and literacy skills

* A positive attitude and a genuine interest in the automotive sector
