Level 3 Vehicle Technician – Thurleigh, Bedfordshire

Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00

Pay: £16.31 per hour

Contract: Long-term, ongoing work

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive company, for a skilled Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join their experienced workshop team in Thurleigh. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicles to play a key role in delivering high-quality services and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general vehicle servicing and maintenance

* Carry out tyre changes for various vehicle types

* Conduct road tests and ramp inspections as required

* Complete all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to their original condition

* Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard

* Diagnose faults on vehicles and conduct electrical diagnosis when necessary

* Handle warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards

* Complete all relevant documentation and ensure adherence to company procedures

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

* City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) (essential)

* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

* Ability to support junior technicians and share expertise when required

* Passion for the motor industry and a commitment to working to the highest standards

* Ability to work independently and make decisions on repairs

* Excellent attention to detail
