About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading provider of integrated facilities services on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a high-profile, site-based role supporting a key Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract, with annual revenues of approximately £16 million.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations, managing the month-end process, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and acting as a trusted business partner to both internal stakeholders and the client.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the local finance administration team and oversee all financial processes

Manage month-end billing and produce accurate financial reports

Analyse site performance and provide meaningful variance commentary

Oversee payroll distribution, purchase order management, and subcontractor cost control

Produce annual budgets, reforecasts, and ad-hoc financial reports

Liaise with client teams and central finance to resolve debt and billing queries

Deliver finance training to on-site teams and support system-related queries

What we are looking for:

Essential

Facilities Management experience or a similar operational finance environment

Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint

Proven experience in financial control, reporting, and analysis

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects

Strong business partnering skills and attention to detail
