School Facilities Assistant
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant to support a school in Eastbourne on a temporary basis.
You will play a key role in keeping the school site safe, clean, and running smoothly. Due to the Nature of the role, an Enhanced DBS is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and secure the school premises daily
- Oversee traffic management during student drop-off and pick-up
- Carry out basic cleaning, caretaking, and maintenance reporting tasks
- Ensure the site is safe and tidy throughout the day
About You:
- Experience in a facilities or caretaking role
- Confident managing vehicle movement in a busy, compact car park
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly and calm when interacting with students, staff, and visitors
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS
