Job Description

Abatec is working with a regional Civil Engineering contractor who deliver Highway & Infrastructure schemes across the region. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with experience of heavy civils including earthworks and highways to join the highly successful contractor.

As Project Manager you will:

• Report into the Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.
• Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
• Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
• Prepare, check and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.

Our client requires a Project Manager with:

• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
• A history of managing highways/earthworks works.
• A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

Salary and benefits include:

• 375 - 425 per day OUTSIDE IR35
