Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Location: Portsmouth
Pay: £160 to £215 dependent on experience
Start Date: September '25 to end of Academic Year

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational Early Years Teacher to join this vibrant primary school. You will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our pupils. You will work closely with staff, parents, and carers to provide an enriching and inspiring learning experience for the students.

• Experience teaching in Early Years essential
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification essential

What are your responsibilities?

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with EYFS curriculum
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports children s early development
• Ensure pupil safety and well-being, supporting their social and emotional development.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and apply best practices to improve teaching.
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support individual goals.
• Build strong relationships with parents, providing progress updates and attending meetings.
• Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings
