SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN Base - South Liverpool

Full-Time September Start Primary School

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Liverpool is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN base full-time from September.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a dedicated SEN resource base. You'll work as part of a skilled team to help children access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential in a nurturing environment.

• Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions

• Assist with personal care and emotional regulation where required

• Adapt learning activities and resources to suit individual needs

• Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning space

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or specialist setting (essential)

• A patient, resilient, and compassionate nature

• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

• A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or similar) is desirable but not essential

• A supportive and well-resourced SEN base

• Ongoing CPD and opportunities to develop your SEN skillset
