About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in the Liverpool area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic educator. A successful applicant will have a teaching qualification with QTS.

Secondary Business Teacher

Location: L18

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm

Pay: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons on business concepts such as finance, marketing, management, and economics.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Prepare students for exams, coursework, and real-world applications.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through case studies and projects.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support those who need additional help.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Business or related
• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
