Our Client is Global consumer product manufacturer based in Chertsey is looking for (Korean Speaking) Finance Reporting Manager Produce management reporting on activities undertaken by the Finance Operations function. This enables the CFO and FD to effectively manage performance of the team and identify trends/issues. 12 months Contract

Key Responsibilities: Act as main contact point for handling and answering questions and requests raised by Europe Office and Suwon Office. This may involve the translation of documents into Korean (or from Korean into English) from time to report back

* Focus on performance and control;

* Provide clear and meaningful analysis of business trends and drivers;

* Identify issues and drive actions/behaviours to resolve problems rather than merely reporting the numbers.

* Financial Control process monitoring: Perform monitoring controls to ensure accounting and process compliance within entire Finance Operations, and to promote a strong control environment. In this aspect, the applicant should have an accounting knowledge. Support CFO/FD to understand the process and find a control weakness and mitigate the risk. Monitoring controls will include :

* Regular management reporting and analytical review;

* Routine analysis of balance sheet risks and opportunities;

* Periodic testing of key internal controls.

* Perform quarter-end close duties as assigned including the Internal Control Check and External Audit Results

* Month End Duties: Conduct month-end close duties including calculation and posting of Open-Risk Provisions, Bad Debt Provisions and Debit Note (Chargeback) Provisions.

* Ad hoc reports, analysis and projects as advised by the CFO and FD.

Skills and attributes:

* Must be fluent in Korean.

* Needs to have worked in the accounting team with proven experience.

* Hands on experience of using ERP systems (preferably SAP).

* Strong reporting skills, display key information and convey messages clearly, concisely and with impact.

* Ability to work in a high pressure environment, ensure delivery is made within the requested quick turnaround timeframe from senior collaborators (CFO, FD).

* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, get key messages across succinctly and proactively work with others.
