This part-time, term-time position is ideal for someone hardworking, proactive, and genuinely passionate about helping children succeed. If you have experience working within Key Stage 2 and want to be part of a school community that encourages innovation and excellence, then this role is for you.
Key responsibilities
• Support the year 4 class teacher in planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons
• Use targeted strategies to help pupils reach learning objectives
• Monitor and record pupil progress, and report back to the class teacher
• Assist with classroom displays and help create a stimulating learning environment
• Promote positive pupil behaviour in and out of the classroom
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to provide additional academic and emotional support
