* Various locations - Southwest or Glasgow

* £40,000 p.a. - £60,000 p.a. (dependent upon experience)

* £350 - £450 per day inside IR35

* Hybrid working

* SC Clearance Required

RT Consulting are an established Silver ERS Armed Forces Covenant SME, we are a Management Consultancy with over 15 years' experience in driving innovation and transformation in key sectors, including Defence, Local & Central Government, Policing and Transport.

As a result of continued success, we are expanding our society of consultants to fulfil current and future demands from our defence portfolio, particularly one of the largest Defence frameworks within the UK which we have proudly been supporting for over 5 years.

Our consultants are deployed into largescale Programmes/Projects to bring expert knowledge to drive sustainable and long-term change and add value to each project / programme.

We are looking for Commercial Managers with the following experience:

* Developing Commercial strategies and contract management plans

* Sourcing and management of high value and complex contracts within a Defence or Government department

* Re procurement and mobilisation of contracts to ensure successful delivery

* Procurement planning and strategy development

* IT Procurement

* Developing tender documentation, support to procurement strategy and engagement with key stakeholders

* Managing the commercial approvals process, providing recommendations and assurance to senior commercial staff.

* CIPS Desirable

Working within a secure environment, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our society's success. You must hold current and active Security Clearance, ensuring it is up to date and has been utilised within the past 12 months to meet the urgent needs of this programme.
