KS2 Teacher - Alternative Provision | Whitehaven

Location: Whitehaven

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time | Until Easter 2026

Class Size: Up to 8 pupils

Pay £160 - £240 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a dedicated Alternative Provision in the Whitehaven area, who are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time basis until Easter 2026.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact by working with a small class of up to 8 pupils, many of whom require additional support to re-engage with their learning.

About the Role:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs

Work closely with a supportive team of teaching assistants and pastoral staff

Foster a nurturing and structured learning environment

Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to build confidence and achieve progress

Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches accordinglyRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience working with KS2 pupils

A positive, resilient approach and commitment to inclusive education

Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

Experience within an Alternative Provision or working with SEMH (desirable but not essential)Why Join Tradewind?
