Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a civil engineering contractor delivering a Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC) structures package on a high-profile project in the Isle of Grain. This is a 2-month contract with potential for extension depending on project progress.

You will play a key role in overseeing setting out and quality control for complex concrete works in a live construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out for fibre reinforced concrete works, including base slabs, walls, and associated structures

• Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and trades

• Managing site documentation including QA records and as-builts

• Resolving technical issues in coordination with design and site management teams

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience on FRC or large-scale concrete structures projects

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar

• CSCS card (required)

• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)

• Proficient with robotic instruments (Trimble or Leica)

• Strong understanding of concrete specifications and detailing
