Job Title: Night Shift Site Engineer
Location: Surrey
Rate: 350- 400 per day (Day Rate) / 500- 525 per night (Night Shift)
Hours: 42 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 30/08/2025
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

We are currently seeking a Night Shift Site Engineer for a key infrastructure project in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the delivery of works relating to Technology, Street Lighting, and Traffic Signal installation and cabling.

• 
  Setting out works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
• 
  Managing night shift operations and overseeing installation activities.
• 
  Creating and briefing permits (including RAMS, TM permits, etc.).
• 
  Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely progress.
• 
  Daily reporting of site progress and engineering issues.
• 
  Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with quality standards.
• 
  Supporting the Site Manager and Project Engineer with technical input and compliance.

• 
  Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highway or infrastructure projects.
• 
  Strong setting out and permit-to-work experience.
• 
  Familiarity with street lighting, traffic signal systems, and associated cabling.
• 
  Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• 
  CSCS card (essential).
• 
  SSSTS/SMSTS and NRSWA (desirable).
• 
  Ability to work independently during night shifts.
