Job Title: Interim Building Control Surveyor (Class 2) - Approved Inspector
Location: Wiltshire (Hybrid working available)
Rate: 55-65 per hour (Umbrella or Limited Company)
Contract: initial 6 month contract with a high view to extend

A Wiltshire-based Approved Inspector is seeking an experienced Interim Class 2 Building Control Surveyor to join their team on a rolling contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects in a supportive, professional environment.

• Manage a caseload of complex Building Control applications

• Conduct site inspections to assess compliance with Building Regulations

• Provide expert technical advice to applicants, developers, and stakeholders

• Ensure work aligns with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed

• Class 2 Registration with the Building Safety Regulator

• Proven experience in a similar role within a Local Authority

• In-depth knowledge of current Building Regulations and associated legislation

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension

• Flexible, hybrid working arrangements available

• Competitive hourly rate of 55- 65, depending on experience
