Starting date: September 2025
Salary: 90 - 105 per day
Temporary Contract, ongoing position
Part-Time Vacancy (8:15am - 3:15pm, 4 days per week)

Early Years Practitioner Specification

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join a friendly and forward-thinking Primary School located in West Bromwich. This is a part-time, long-term role within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), providing essential support to young learners in their earliest stages of education.

The school offers a warm and inclusive learning environment with a passionate team dedicated to fostering early development through a nurturing, play-based approach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As an Early Years Practitioner in our partner school, you will:

  • Work alongside experienced EYFS staff to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning
  • Support children's progress through play, exploration, and structured activities
  • Assist with planning, observations, and assessments
  • Provide support to individuals and small groups across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
  • Help promote positive behaviour, communication, and independence
  • Ensure the classroom remains a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Confidence in managing routines and classroom expectations
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
