Science Teacher
Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds for a one-year contract starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of learning and scientific curiosity in students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular activities.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
