Position: Registered General Nurse (RGN) - Locum or Permanent

Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire

Team: Neurological Rehabilitation - Private Sector

Overview:

Provided high-quality nursing care within a private sector specialist neurological and rehabilitation centre, supporting individuals with long-term neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries, and complex physical health needs. Operated as part of a multidisciplinary team in a structured, clinically led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivered compassionate, rehabilitative care to service users with neurological and complex needs

Completed assessments and developed individualised care plans, implementing and evaluating care interventions

Maintained accurate clinical documentation and contributed to care reviews and MDT discussions

Supported and mentored junior staff to promote quality, safety, and effective teamwork

Promoted best practice, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory standards

Skills Used:

Neurological and physical health nursing

Clinical assessment, care planning, and risk management

Team collaboration and staff support

Accurate record-keeping and documentation

Patient-centred, evidence-based care delivery

Setting Details:

Specialist private neurological centre based in Sawbridgeworth (Hertfordshire/Essex border), delivering 24-hour nursing and therapy services across a 132-bed site. The service includes adapted, en-suite bedrooms and communal rehabilitation facilities designed to promote comfort, recovery, and independence for adults with complex needs.
