Carmichaels are seeking a Sub Agent with highways experience to work with a Tier 1 client in Gloucestershire

Responsibilities

As a Sub Agent, you'll be required to assist the Site Agent to achieve project delivery to the customers objectives. At the same time maintaining high standards of health and safety, environment and quality and have a commercial awareness whilst ensuring the wellbeing of your team and everyone around you.

Responsibilities Include

Assist the Agent to plan and allocate appropriate supervisory resources as required by the site team

Evaluate subcontractors and advise the Agent and the Commercial Manager accordingly

Supervise site activities and manage the sub-agent team

Implementing and maintaining safe systems of work

What are we looking for?

This role of Sub Agent is great if you have:

relevant construction related degree/HNC

SMSTS and CSCS qualifications

a strong civil engineering and major projects background with earthworks, highways and drainage experience
