Temporary Agency Chef Care Homes

Are you a talented chef looking for temporary opportunities in the Care sector? Yellow 42 Recruitment are seeking chefs of all levels to register and join our team to assist our clients throughout the central belt.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare daily menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of the residents.
• Prepare meals that are appetising, visually appealing, and within budget.
• Monitor food stocks.
• Ensure that all food is stored, prepared, and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Maintain health and safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised.
  

Skills and Attributes

• Proven experience as a Chef in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI Framework is essential.
• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate.
