Job Description

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer ( Milling Machining bias), you'll need to possess excellent experience in CNC manufacturing Milling practices and processes including programming using Siemens NX CAD/CAM knowledge.

Experience with 5 axis machining centres DMG Mori Seiki, Okuma and Mazak I200 wold be highly desirable, along with experience of machining xcomplex alloys such as titanium, inconel, aluminium grades.

DUTIES - Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Milling)

• Authorisng and approving manufacturing processes and process specifications

• Create and optimise Online and Offline 5 Axis milling programming for CNC Activities -

• Perform problem solving and root cause corrective actions (RCCA).

• Provide technical, machining task planning and authorisation.

• Advise and support daily shop-floor management meetings.

• Develop the ME function, identifying new technology to enhance productivity & quality.

BACKGROUND -Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Milling)

• Manufacturing / Engineering Apprenticeship or above.

• Previous Hands-on Machining experience

• Experience with multi axis milling machines

• Confident with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Strong working knowldege of Fanuc control systems and Advanced capability in Siemens NX CAD/CAM programming (online and offline)

Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing engineering (Or equivalent)

Significant experience in regulated manufacturing/process engineering environment

Proven CNC Programming expertise

Strong knowledge of DFM, DFSS, APQP, Lean methodologies and Zero Defects principles.
