Housekeeper
Emergency Department
Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Thorne Road, Doncaster DN2 5LT
Band 2 - £12.71/hr (Weekdays), £17.64/hr (Weeknights and Saturdays) & £22.90/hr (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
Part time working 26.25 hours per week placement up to 6 months with potential to be extended
Rolling 2-week rota Full flexibility to work any shift, day or night is essential
Shifts: 06.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 & 22.00-06.00 (night)

This is a vital role supporting clinical staff and helping to ensure the Emergency Department remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper in the Emergency Department, you will:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all ED areas
Carry out routine and deep cleaning of clinical and non-clinical spaces
Support infection prevention and control procedures
Replenish supplies such as linen, PPE, and cleaning materials
Assist staff in keeping patient areas safe, tidy, and well organised
Respond promptly to cleaning requests in a busy, fast-paced environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Available to work alternating shifts at any time of the day or night, including weekends
Reliable, friendly, and committed to high standards
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a busy Emergency Department setting
Passionate about contributing to patient care behind the scenes
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
