Environmental Field Technician

£26,000 + Full Training Provided

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors rather than being stuck behind a desk?

We're looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join an environmental team carrying out soil and ground sampling across sites throughout Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.

No previous environmental experience is required. Full training and induction will be provided.

The Role

As an Environmental Field Technician, you'll be responsible for collecting soil samples and environmental data from sites across the region.

This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring a practical approach, good levels of fitness and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

You will start and finish each day from the Wolverhampton office, travelling to sites using company vehicles.

Responsibilities

* Carry out soil and ground sampling activities

* Record site information accurately

* Travel to various locations across Wolverhampton and surrounding areas

* Follow health, safety and environmental procedures

* Maintain sampling equipment and vehicles

* Support environmental monitoring and investigation activities

About You

Essential Requirements

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

* Physically fit and capable of manual work

* Reliable and punctual

* Happy travelling to sites within approximately one hour of Wolverhampton

Important Information

This position is initially offered for a four-week assignment. Further work may become available depending on project requirements and workload.
